Through the Looking Glass

Finally took the road less traveled
through the looking glass
found whats always mattered

winding paths surrender to talking trees
finally i found the cabin’s keys

I know I’ve sought this road before
free to let my spirit soar

I cannot take credit for this
heart received redemption’s kiss

My heart is crying out to you
My head no longer pretends
That loneliness was meant for me
With no hopes to mend

A spirit once broken
Contrite and filled with fear
Has been given a breath of life
Releasing bliss’s Tear

I’ve always dreamed about you
Two lights float in the divide
In our secret place we would meet
Where our souls there would bind

My thoughts no longer search
My head no longer in control
My heart has taken over
Entwined with yours forever more
