Lucid dreams, waking life,

Lead me another restless night.

Illustrious visions of something to come,

Other things easier to hide from.

 

Prefer to sleep, prefer to dream,

In daylight nothing is as it seems.

Confusing ideas, even to a complicated mind.

With eyes closed, there is more to find.

 

Sleep to dream,

Dream to wake,

The unconscious mind,

I cannot fake.
